Doris May Return In The Summer, But Not Yet.

Steven Doris has not been offered a contract with Birmingham City at the moment, but he still has a chance of coming to St Andrews in the summer.

Boss Lee Clark has been impressed with what he as seen of Doris while on trial at the club, but feels that it might be a better idea to keep tabs on the player while he plays for Arbroath and then maybe step in for a summer signing.

"He`s done extremely well and we`re going to keep watching him for the rest of the season up in Scotland at Arbroath," said Clark to the Birmingham Mail.

"We would like to do something ready for next season, whether that happens over the course of the next few months or we wait until the summer, we`ll see. I certainly liked what I saw.
