McLeish Will Very Likely Be Back For Burke

McLeish Will Very Likely Be Back For Burke

Nottingham Forest's new manager Alex McLeish is determined to get Birmingham winger Chris Burke in Forest colours before the end of the transfer window.

McLeish who was worshipped by virtually tens of people during his time at St Andrews with his breathtaking style of football has already made one bid for the player, but that offer has been rejected by Blues.

But the former City and Villa boss knows Burke only too well having worked with him at St Andrews and Rangers and McLeish will not give up so easily.

Burke will be a free agent at the end of the season and City need the cash, they have already said that no player will be leaving at a bargain price, but the right price for a player could well seal a deal.

McLeish is expected to make an improved offer to land Burke before the end of January.
