Butland Bid Expected From Stoke?

Butland Bid Expected From Stoke?

Stoke City are gearing themselves up to make a bid for Blues keeper Jack Butland after making enquiries.

Butland told Chelsea where to stick their offer because he wants first team football, he would get that at Stoke as they look to be selling Azmir Begovic to one of the top clubs.

The speculation is that Stoke would be very unlikely to offer anymore than £3.5million for the young England keeper, which is silly after Blues turned down £6million in the summer when Southampton came sniffing.

Stoke always seem to get top class goalkeepers stretching back as far as Gordon Banks

I remember that they had Peter Shilton years and years ago. I think that the one they have now also turned down Chelsea because of not getting games

Sell them Butland, but actually send Doyle. The knuckle dragging freaks will never notice the difference.

If Butland has to go for small money then perhaps they could sell and then keep him til the end of the season like Zaha at manure?
