Boss Left Wanting More After Forest Win

Birmingham manager Lee Clark saw his side beat Nottingham Forest on Saturday at St Andrews, but he felt that the margin of the win should have been bigger.

Chris Burke was on sizzling form in front of the man that wanted to buy him for Forest as he hit two goals for Blues and ran them a merry dance throughout the game.

And at 2-0, the score line was a pretty fair reflection of how the game had gone, although in fairness with a little more luck in front of goal then that score could had doubled. And that's not to mention the penalty that City should have had but the ref let play go on.

But that did not stop him giving Forest a penalty late on after a bit of theatrics had been used in the box, from which Billy Sharp grabbed a goal back.

Clark told reporters after the game: 'I just wish we could have got that elusive clean sheet. We then had that late penalty.

'I'm not disputing the penalty but if that was a penalty then Chris Burke's one 10 minutes earlier was probably a penalty. In the last four games we have had three penalties against us.

'I was disappointed we didn't win by a bigger margin with the chances we had particularly in the second half. I am enjoying it at the moment because we have a lot of pace in the team when we break.

'Chris Burke is back to his form of last season when he was the best player in the Championship.'

Forest are one big joke and a couple of hours taking the sap out of McLeish was just what the quack ordered
