'If It's Football, It's Vital'

McLeish Quits Again..

Alex McLeish took charge of his last game with Nottingham Forest on Saturday at St Andrews.

Forest lost the game 2-1 and that seems to have helped Forest and McLeish figure out his future a little faster and he leaves the club by mutual consent.

McLeish was not too happy about not being able to bring in his targeted players for one reason or another, one being George Boyd who is supposed to have failed an eye test and Chris Burke who remained at Birmingham.

One of the reasons speculated as to why he has left is because he did not like the interference from the owners, the Al-Hasawi family.

McLeish said via a statement on the club's official website: 'I am extremely saddened to be leaving after such a short period.

'But even so, it has been a privilege to be manager of such a fantastic football club and I want to thank the players, staff and fans for their support and wish Nottingham Forest the best of fortunes ahead.

'Both parties entered into the relationship in good faith, however, there was a difference in the understanding of the development strategy of the football club and it was felt by both parties that we should part company.'

Its a pity they have parted, I'm sure he could have got them relegated by the end of the season.

Forest will never be relegated, they are massive and they won the european cup, so their fans keep telling everyone

Have Derby been sounding him out do you think? He's going for the full midlands set

There is no point trying to manage a football team when the owner thinks he can do it better

McLeish is earning the respect of nobody in the football world. Scotland is the best place for him
