Chinese Attempt To Take King?

According to reports last night, Birmingham City have turned down a Chinese approach for striker Marlon King.

Shanghai Shenhua are said to have made an enquiry about the Blues top scorer, but City feel he should stay at St Andrews.

Sky Sports are saying that King is one of their top targets now as they have recently lost the services Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka.

Clubs in China have their own transfer window dates and with theirs not closing until the end of March, they can still do deals with British clubs.

I dont trust Sky and assuming that its right, does King not get a say in it, he'll be the one who gets 200,000,000,000 yen per game.

I take it we're talking free here, they cant be seriously thinking of parting with cash for him at 32?

Might not be everyone's favourite but he has done us a good service, I wont complain about him. I hope we can get another year or so.
