'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Muamba - This Is The Beginning

Loan star Fabrice Muamba has insisted it is only the start for the Blues' new team and there will be alot more to come.

'There is more to come.

'Every game we are looking better, we are looking sharper, we are getting more confident.

'You haven't seen anything yet. Once we get to know each other a bit more, I am sure we will do very well as a team.

'We are top and we are very confident we can stay there. We know how we can play, we know what we are capable of.

'If we continue to do our jobs and improve, like I think we will, then we can end up back in the Premiership.

'Mentally, we were very, very switched on at QPR and very positive about ourselves and the way we played, the way we attacked.

'When we went forward we always felt that we could score, we had belief in ourselves.

'The other thing was that everyone worked hard throughout the team and we showed good character when we had Nicklas Bendtner sent off.

'You need experience in this game and people like Jaidi and Bruno were different class.

'Experience always counts and they really helped us.

'How big a difference do they make? In this league, you need people like them at centre-half. They have played in the Premiership and they know what it is all about, what it takes to win.

'You have always got to be patient, I was hoping my chance would come and it did.

'I think I did well enough. It was good playing next to David Dunn. He is more of an attacking midfield player.

'I just had to break the play and give the ball to him and others. It worked well.'
