'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Chris Burke 'Nikola is Nikola.'

Chris Burke insists that Nikola Zigic is back to his old self after having a fall out with City manager Lee Clark.

Clark was not happy with Zigic just a week or so ago when he angrily pointed out in public that Zigic had lost his place in the side because of his attitude towards training.

Clark said at the time that the big Serb's attitude as "the worst I`ve seen in 25 years of football.'

But, having learnt a lesson, Zigic was back with a goal in the 2-0 win over Peterborough United at the weekend.

Burke told the Daily Star: "Nikola is Nikola.

"He frustrates defenders even if there are three around him and that creates space for the likes of myself to get on the ball.

"With his aerial presence, even if he doesn`t win it he causes problems. He was excellent. He has the knack of just getting a tap-in, but you have to be there. At the end of the day, he scored."

Clark going public may have helped, but we shall see in another couple of games.

Bit of humiliation did him the power of good, hope he keeps it up.
