Blues Take Toon Winger

Birmingham have taken Newcastle winger Shane Ferguson on an emergency loan of one month it was announced today.

The 21 year old was a product of the Newcastle Academy and already has the experience of playing in the Toon first team having made 23 appearances in the black and white stripes.

But the Northern Ireland international has not featured in the first team since December when he was part of the squad that lost 7-3 to Arsenal.

Ferguson, who has also got the capability of playing in defence, will go straight into the side that faces Hull City away on Saturday.
