'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Clark Delighted That Fahey Is Back

Birmingham manager Lee Clark is absolutely delighted that Keith Fahey is back in the Blues squad.

Fahey went back to his native Dublin on compassionate leave in November but he was back for the game against Middlesbrough and boosted the side as they won two on the bounce for only the second time this season.

Earlier in the season Birmingham had relegation worries, but they are now well placed in mid-table and Clark is hoping that having Fahey back will inspire them to better things.

Clark told the Birmingham Mail: 'Considering he has not played competitively for so long and to perform like he did, it was outstanding.

'It's definitely a big plus to have Keith back in the group.

'He was a very important player for this club last season and we're just happy that he's available again and involved.'
