Saunders Feeling Confident Ahead of Derby Clash

Wolves manager Dean Saunders says that his side now have the momentum to secure their safety in the Championship sooner rather than later.

Birmingham face a Wolves side on Monday that have won three times in their last four games, on Saturday they beat Middlesbrough 3-2 on home soil, now Saunders insists that the fight for survival is now on.

Goal difference is keeping them in the bottom three after their good run and they fully expect to keep that run going against Blues.

"The players have the bit between their teeth now and are showing their character," said Saunders.

"Instead of just lying down and looking for people to blame, they`ve rallied together and the spirit is good in the camp."
