'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Caddis Figure Revealed to be 250,000.

Birmingham told Swindon Town no over Paul Caddis as the club revealed they can`t afford the fee.

The negotiations were understood to be lengthy with Swindon stating they simply would not accept a payment plan from Blues and who could blame them? With the way the club is operating at the moment it would probably be unwise to accept a 'promise to pay` from a club like Blues.

Lee Clark is bitterly disappointed as he had already planned for this deal to be done and turned attentions elsewhere, it is also widely known that PC also expected to join the club permanently. The player made 28 appearances for the club and was widely likely amongst the staff and fans.

It is understood that Clark is thinking of turning to the academy in the form of Ryan Higgins who told the Blues Official Site he wants to emulate the likes of Butland, Redmond and Arthur in making himself a home grown success story.

A team of youngsters may not even be enough to keep us mid-table, or do you think otherwise?
