Redmond England Afterthought

Nathan Redmond has been included in the under 21 squad for the European Championships in Israel, but only after another player withdrew (Townsend).

Stuart Peace will probably put it down to the player only being 19 as to reasons why he was not included originally but Redmond will no doubt will be wanting to kick on and impress in the England camp.

A lot of scouts attend these championships, it is why young players are so desperate to play for the countries at such young ages even when success at this level rarely brings fame. A good tournament will bring interest and with the trend at blues currently set at 'reduce cost`, Redmond may now be on the list of valued assets that indeed have their price.
