Toms Twitter Tumble

Toms Twitter Tumble

Tom Ross has been facing questions on twitter about his admission fee for the Help For Heroes charity match. Apparently he hadn`t paid to get in, although he was managing a Blues allstar team at the event, and was quite taken aback when he was asked about the £3 entry fee.

Ross responded on twitter stating that they have never been expected too in all 21 years apparently, which is fair enough, I guess they just go with the status quo and it slips the mind.

You would argue that the managers/players and participants are the assets at these types of events and are there to generate money not contribute, however! that would be from a business point of few, this is charity. I had always assumed that people that were asking others to give had always given themselves.

I have no idea whether Tom Ross had made other contributions, I don`t feel the admission fee is also a real talking point, but this small hiccup may well actually highlight a bigger picture. Are these celebrities actually giving along with us? I chucked all of my change into a Help for Heroes bucket this past weekend whilst out shopping, I certainly hope Tom Ross does the same.
