Chucho Set for Premier League Return

Former Blues favourite Christian Benitez is apparently the subject of a 9 million bid from Spurs.

CB`s club have confirmed that the 3 year running top goal scorer is welcome to leave to fulfil his ambitions however nothing formal has been agreed.

Benitez scored just 4 goals in 36 appearances for Blues but it was widely accepted his influence on games was sorely missed after the club decided to not take up the option to buy we had on him.

Nine million is a bit of a joke in my opinion, but then again 500 quid is a joke to us

I think Spurs are short upfront and 9m sounds attractive for a player who has scored a lot of goals in the past three years. I think he was only early 20s when he was with us, a finish may have developed by now.
