Birmingham's Redmond Relishes U21 Expirience

Birmingham's young starlet started both games at the European Championships this summer against Italy and Norway after being a late addition to the squad.

Redmond has commented saying that he felt that the team dominated parts of both games and failed to punish their opponents on several occasions.

NR performed really well against Italy and it looks likely to put him in much more of England's U21s plans in the future, he also has told Sky Sports that as a result of his regular first team football he feels making the step up to international tournaments wasn't too much of a challenge.

It is well worth noting that despite the positives for Birmingham, the overall performance at this championship's is unacceptable for England, having now failed to reach the semi-finals Stuart Pearce and co have some serious rethinking to do.

Nathan Redmond has started 27 league games for blues, scoring 7 times and continues to be linked to bigger clubs.
