'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Not Just Any Old Wednesday, It's Fixtures Day!!

It's THAT day again tomorrow, that's right it's fixtures day and for the first time since certain people got greedy, this site will be publishing the fixture list for Birmingham City FC.

For the past few seasons Dataco decided that the fixture list would be copyright and small independent sites were expected to pay a kings ransom for the right to show the list, or even part of it on their individual bandwidth.

This affected the running of fan's sites in that although they may have been the favourite site of some fans, they had to use the official sites to get the info they crave at this time of year.

Now we're not saying that you should not use the official sites for your fixture or any other info you need on the club, far from it. They are after all, closer to the goings on at a club and damn good they are at it. We love our official Birmingham City website.

But if you want the fan's view of things then that's when a small network or an individual site comes into its own, so why not let us carry the rest of the info?

We encourage you to use the official sites as much as you can, it brings in revenue for the club and God knows the Blues could use that at the moment.

All we ask is that you remember that we are here too and we now carry fixture info.

Keep Right On.
