'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We Need Clean Sheets

In the most 'stating of the bleedin obvious' article today, Radhi Jaidi says we need to keep clean sheets.

I say sack the laundry workers then!

Speaking to the local press, the ex Bolton centre half said he was unhappy that Blues are conceeding so many. Cynical fans could be heard in the background muttering a variety of things I'm too nic to repeat.

Speaking mainly on the pathetic hattrick of goals gifted to Leeds at the weekend he said:

'We could have stopped them scoring'.

So why didn't you then!?!

'They scored easy goals, we should not have conceded them like we did.

'To perform like that is not our level.

'We have to work on this and repair our positioning and concentration.

'I hate losing. As a defender, I try to stop the other team but I don't know what happened on Saturday.

'A very important thing is to keep a clean sheet first and foremost.

'All of us have to think about that, we have to have the mentality not to let the opposition score, because the goals will come at the other end.

'In our team, we have a lot of attacking quality and our strikers keep scoring, which is what you need.

'But we must try to keep a clean sheet. If we want to go forward and realise our dreams, then this is something that must happen.'

Well said that man, now stop talking about it, a few of you could do with not getting sent off, and a good few could do with putting in a performance that their wage would dictate we see slightly more often than we have done for 2 years.
