Birmingham Fans React To Davies Fee

Curtis Davies' transfer to Hull (or soon to be transfer) has not been greeted in positive fashion by the fanbase. The 28 year old was Blues player of the season and was bound to get shipped out this summer.

There has been a few headlines reading 'Bruce gives former club financial boost' but is he really? Davis moved to Birmingham for around 3m and has done nothing but improve his footballing reputation with the former Carling Cup Champions.

To see a prized and in form asset go for the nominal fee of 2.25m has not gone down well, it seems the club are potentially much closer to the red that previously though is that kind of fee is acceptable for one of the clubs leading players.

Following a similar trend with Nathan Redmond could well spread apathy about the club and significantly reduce attendances at home games.

'Wot a pointless giveaway oh well helps pay yeungs court bills. Joke !'

'We've had I'd without him. Can't believe it's considered for that money.'
