Zigic Wage Hike

ESPN today are reporting that Nikola Zigic's wages are set to rise to 75,000 a week for his final year at Blues.

Birmingham have been trying to off-load the player for several years due to his high wages, however no other club is willing to take on his wages so Zigic has stayed put.

With the funds at the club still so tight, the 4 million projected cost of Zigic would be enough to keep assets like Redmond, or at least increase the price.
