Birmingham Go Green.

Birmingham Go Green.

Green who scored bags of goals for Mansfield Town as they got promoted last season is out of contract this summer and is understood to be joining Lee Clark's boys at Wast Hills.

It seems Mansfield Town have no chance of keeping him even if he doesn't sign for blues.

At already 26 years of age the player more than likely wants to jump as many divisions as he can and a chance to play in the championship could well be the biggest jump on his contract offers table. Seems to remind me of DJ Campbell.

Despite other interest, Blues are favourite to sign him. That is Green and Novak added to the striking dept.

The Welsh player started at Newport before being signed by big boys Cardiff.
