Black Pleased With Improvement

First team coach Eric Black has spoken of his pleasure at seeing Blues' address some of their defensive concerns in the last match against Leicester.

Defensively we have been making stupid and unforgivable mistakes that Black has gone to pains to point out, but speaking to the local press he has said that he is pleased that those issues have been addressed and improved upon by the team.

Leicester grabbed a late equiliser on Saturday to deny us all 3 points but overall there was plenty to be positive about for a change.

'I thought there were a lot more positives in terms of the back four and our defence.

'We operated a lot better but that killer punch with a few minutes to go ruined the next two weeks until we play again.'

When Blues do play again though we will have Bruno N'Gotty back after he served his 3 match suspension and you would expect him to be in the squad that faces Luton on October 14.

Letting in a late goal shows there is still a long way to go before you sort the problems out.
