Burke Price Wide Of The Mark

Burke Price Wide Of The Mark

On the final day of the transfer window Leeds came in for Chris Burke, Birmingham reportedly asked for £600k and this put of the buyers.

Burke is an important player for Blues, he has shown that with performances already this season. However as we know, no player is off the table and the club continue to seek ways to minimise expenditure.

The players contract is due to expire in the summer, I guess he is as good as gone now as I highly doubt Birmingham will be able to offer the kind of financial package other clubs will be willing to offer him; especially when they are getting him for free.
