Desperate Times Call For A Youth Loan

Desperate Times Call For A Youth Loan

Jess Lingard is set to spend the next month in Birmingham City's midfield, the youngster boasts a growing reputation in football and is among the hottest touted young players at United at the moment. Signing such a highly rated young player could have a confidence boost for the players already in the team.

The young man had a brilliant pre-season with United this year and this could be the reason why they are so keen for him to play first team football else where. It could be that as he has preformed so well recently that he may well of pushed for this deal also; I mean what more can you do than perform and train well to get in a starting line-up? With Carrick and co in front of him I imagine he is simply too young (although Cleverly gets plenty of playing time).

He has already won the FA Youth cup for United (2011) and he can play right the way through midfield; including on either wing. A player that can go anywhere in midfield will probably suit Lee Clark perfectly, he is likely to be a player than can be plenty fluid with his movement in midfield which will always cause problems for a team trying to defend against us.

Lingard will wear number 9 whilst with Blues and I'm sure he'll be very happy to be getting some first team action in a competitive league.
