'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Where are they now?: Darren Purse

Just in case you were sat there this Tuesday wondering where Darren Purse is, well do I have news for you!

Birmingham old-boy Darren Purse has joined Chesham United, it what will probably be the final move of his long career.

Purse has played for 10 teams through his career, starting his professional career in 1994. After joining Blues from Oxford united he went on to make 143 league games scoring 9 times. Purse played for Birmingham for an impressive 6 years.

Chesham are in the Southern League Premier and is a player coach. His debut was this past week in a 2-0 win at AFC Totton.

No doubt Chesham have a wonderful role model in their dressing room, after all he will have footballing knowledge and experience that their players will only ever see on TV.
