Blues Farm Elliott Out To Bristol City

Bristol City have signed midfielder Wade Elliott on loan from Birmingham City on a one month loan deal.

The veteran has joined the league one strugglers until March 1st and he goes straight into the Robin's side that faces Brentford tonight at Griffin Park.

The 35-year-old joins up once again with Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill who signed the player when he was the manager at Burnley.

Elliott signed a one year contract with Blues in the summer and has been with the club since 2011.

This has been done because Clark thinks the midfielders we have are good enough but this gets Elliott off the wage bill for a bit without getting rid permanently
