Birmingham Defender Signs Another Year

Birmingham Defender Signs Another Year

Birmingham`s young American international defender Will Packwood has signed on for another year with the Midlands side. There is also an option for a further year.

Packwood made 13 appearances last season and has increasingly been more involved within the first team. Lee Clark made it clear at the season`s end that he would be negotiating an extension with the player.

With just one month to go until the player`s current deal runs out, it could be said that the player had possibly agreed the stay on but left it until after having a break before sorting out the formalities.

Will Packwood has been a Birmingham player since the age of 14 and to date has spent a loan spell at Bristol Rovers.

Birmingham's defence will be awesome next season, I expect the goals to stop being shipped in.
