Cotterill Eager To Get Going

New Birmingham City midfielder David Cotterill is determined to make the most of his move to St Andrews and is confident that he will have a good first season.

City prepare to start a busy pre-season schedule so that his new signings have the best chance possible to settle into their new surroundings and Cotterill, who signed a two year deal with the club is set to help the club have a much better season than the one just passed.

He told the Birmingham Mail: 'I think the key is getting everyone to gel now, there's enough time to do that, especially with the players we have signed probably being hungry with their backgrounds.

'I think everyone will do well here and I am sure with the pre-season games we have got a chance to bed everything down.'

I saw that someone had questioned his attitude before now, we are bad enough as it is without having disruptive players in the squad. But give him a chance
