Birmingham Linked With Rotherham Striker

Rotherham heroic striker Alex Revell has been linked with a move away from the club following news that the player has not yet signed a new deal. Revell has just one year to go at the New York Stadium.

Revell joined Rotherham from Leyton Orient and the 31 year old will forever live in the memory of the fans after scoring twice in the League One play-off final.

Sky Sports have revealed that the likes of Sheffield United, Bristol City, Coventry and Birmingham City are all watching the players situation.

The Cambridge born striker is not exactly a goal scorer having only broken double figures three times in his career playing for Brighton, Leyton Orient and Rotherham.

It could be likely that Blues are interested in the player as Birmingham have just three strikers as Matt Green is still injured. Given how Clark has spoken about wanting a wide player though Blues may have other priorities at this moment.

decent enough player assuming that Novak and Donaldson would be upfront first choice

How would we afford this guy? Thought we can't pay transfer fees

At the moment Revs is the Millers hero after his exploits at Wembley and he still has a year left on his contract. I really can't see him moving on - though if he's not getting much game time say by January he might re-think

Good point, but heroes do move on ... Ziggy

They do Iknowmorethanblue - but another factor is they have a baby due in the next month too. I'd be surprised if Revs moved on this side of Christmas - but, as we know, footballers don't often do what w we expect!
