Brentford 1-1 Birmingham, Sky Bet Championship, Saturday 23 August 15:00.

Blues got off to a good start after being awarded a penalty for a foul on Clayton Donaldson in the first half. Paul Caddis then converted to give Birmingham the lead.

The team could not hold out though as Brentford capitalised on wayward passing and poor play for Blues to eventually grab a deserved equaliser.

The Bee's are happy with a point but seem to have wanted more despite having just 10 men.

Could have been 3-0 by half time! Can't believe those headers from Thomas and Novak. It is a good finish that gets them the point.
