Gray Set For Charlton?

Gray Set For Charlton?

Rumours are circulating that Iain Dowie will make a move for Julian Gray during the January transfer window.

Gray played for Dowie at Crystal Palace and having found himself out of favour at the Blues would probably welcome a return to Dowie's management and the Premiership.

Reports over the weekend suggested a swop deal involving Marcus Bent could be the way forward for both parties to agree the move, and Bruce has long been an admirer of Bent and would love to add him to our strikeforce.

Dowie's sacking might change that but I think it would be a good move. Gray is clearly out of favour and when played, out of sorts with the set up or out of form. His performance were always a bit hot and cold and I always thought he should have contributed more to the goal tally. With Forsell injured Bent would be a good addition.

Yeah would think his sacking today will end this one. At least a move to Charlton anyway. Can't see why Bruce didn't let him leave on loan at the very least, get some games and some form and he may have been more useful to us this season.
