'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's Our Fault

Steve Bruce has admitted that Blues only have themselves to blame for not taking all 3 points today against Wolves.

Gary McSheffrey gave Blues the lead and by rights we should've had plenty more before they equilised.

'We can't expect to carry on keeping clean sheets even though we were only two minutes away from doing it again.

'In the last five minutes you are always thinking, are you going to rue those missed chances?

'Their goalkeeper was fantastic but we have to be a bit more clinical.

'That is the most disappointing thing because we had enough chances to win two games of football today but we haven't taken them unfortunately.'

Matters were made worse over the equiliser by Bruce's belief that the referee should've stopped the game in the lead up to the goal because of a head injury to Seb Larsson, or at the very least stopped the game and given a foul.

'It was a foul on Larsson, he has gone down with a head injury and usually either the opposition or the referee pulls that up.

'It is the repercussions of that. We were a man down and normally Larsson's area is the near post but the corner has come in.

'We've had a double blow although to be fair it should have just been a consolation.

'It is frustrating because one of our rivals had slipped up but there is a long, long winter ahead.

'You never know, at the end of the season that point could be enough to get us where we want to be.'
