Johnson Back In Time For Xmas

Damien Johnson should be back in contention for the first team in time for the hectic Xmas schedule according to Eric Black.

He is making a good recovery from his broken jaw and spirits are said to be high.

Speaking on the official site, the assistant manager said:

'Jonty's coming along just fine.

'He's been doing one to one sessions with Dan Harris the fitness coach and is now back in the gym, but he's still not able to do anything involving contact.

'Three weeks have passed now and he's got another three weeks to go, so we expect him to be available for the crucial Christmas period.

'He's in decent shape, although he's lost a bit of weight in terms of body fat, but in terms of muscle definition there's no problem.'

The article on the official site also includes a quick note from Johnson who wishes to thank all those fans who have sent cards and messages to him.
