Bruce Tired of Forse Wait

Steve Bruce seems to have grown tired of waiting for Forse to regain full fitness according to a report in todays Mail.

Speaking to the local paper he said:

'He's been through it before, unfortunately. He's been racked by it, in fact.

'He had one serious knee injury and did his rehabilitation playing for Borussia Monchengladbach.

'We saw him then out in the summer, in Malaysia, and then he had that 'free' year when he scored all the goals for us.

'He got injured the following year, came back and signed for us. So he's had that one year in four really. Last season he was over the knee problem but was still trying to recover fully.

'We've got all the science we can possibly think of, we do everything. But even on the eye, that half-a-yard or that yard you need to have recovered 100 per cent, it takes time.

'That's the biggest problem of the lot.'

Bruce knew the risks when he signed Forse from Chelsea, but Forse will never regain full fitness without playing matches and even when available for selection Bruce has been reticent to pick the player for more than a part on the bench.

Hopefully this isn't the end for Forse, but it seems from the quotes that Bruce is fed up of waiting and may see the way forward as moving his injury problems onto another club.
