Larsson Negotiations Ongoing

Steve Bruce has revealed that Blues and Arsenal are still in discussions over the permanent capture of Seb Larsson.

Speaking on the official site, Bruce said:

'I can't see any problems but it's still ongoing.

'But that's normal with these things now.

'When I used to get a contract it would normally be a case of 'you're getting that son' and it would take five minutes!

'Now it goes on for days and weeks.

'I think he's enjoyed it here so don't think there'll be any problem.'

Larsson himself said recently:

'The club have made it clear that they want me and, if we get all the pieces in place, it might happen.

'We are in talks, but I don't want to force anything, neither does the club.

'The transfer window is open for quite a while now.

'If we can agree on something, then yes, I would be happy to sign.

'I am really enjoying my football and hopefully we can get promoted as well, but my signing
