Campbell Welcomes Competition

DJ Campbell has welcomed the signing of Rowan Vine as he thinks the competition will keep everyone on their toes.

Speaking to the local press, Campbell said:

'I never think it's a bad situation when you sign a very good player, and to me Rowan is a very good player.

'If you can bring people in who are going to help the team to the Premiership, then that's great. Whether it's a forward, a defender or a midfielder, it doesn't matter.

'Rowan, I'm sure, will do his bit for us. He's been very impressive for Luton this season and scored goals. Everyone has welcomed him with open arms.

'Whether he plays, I play or Cameron Jerome, Nicklas Bendtner or Mikael Forssell when he's back, it's about doing a job for the team.

'At the moment the manager has picked Cameron and me, hopefully we can keep our shirts.'
