Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Bristol City

Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Bristol City

After thumping League Two side Crawley Town 5-1 on Tuesday evening, Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp has plenty to think about ahead of the visit of Bristol City.

With managers Redknapp and Lee Johnson having a war of words heading into the fixture, the tie looks set to be a very tasty one.

Striker Clayton Donaldson sat out the game against the League Two outfit earlier this week meaning that he may well feature in the fixture against the Robins.

However, with Che Adams and David Davis working so well together in the triumphant win, Redknapp may well choose to stick with those two in attack.

It is likely that Redknapp will bring Michael Morrison back into the fold, as well as the likes of Cheikh Ndoye and Craig Gardner, as well as goalkeeper David Stockdale.

Down below is who I think will be in the starting XI for the game against Bristol City...

GK: Stockdale

RB: Nsue
CB: Morrison
CB: Roberts
LB: Grounds

RM: Cotterill
CM: Ndoye
CM: Gardner
LM: Maghoma

CF: Davis
ST: Adams

Substitutes: Kuszczak, Dacres-Cogley, Shotton, Kieftenbeld, Gleeson, Tesche, Donaldson.

Blues fans, what do you make of the team that has been predicted? Is it a line up you think can beat Bristol City? Let us know in the comment section down below!

Davis isn't a number 10 and certainly wont start in that position in a league game. It will be Donaldson up front and Cotterill will be on the bench.

Adams and Donaldson need to produce. Never thought our striking options would be so dismal when Harry signed on permanently.Defeat tomorrow might get a reaction from fans who surely deserve better. We have just spent a week dodging the serious spending after supposedly going after 'real quality'.Talk big we most certainly do-just a pity we don't exercise it.

Donaldson,he's ageing however he will give his all as he always does, have a lot of respect for him,has served us so well during difficult times.Adams,I think this season he will score 20 plus, have been saying this for quite a while now so better stop repeating myself.Agreed the manager should have identified a striker and brought one in by now,it's easy to be critical,I am positive he's trying. This match will not be easy,it's a good test to see where we are realistically as a team with the three additions against a side we played in the last match of the season. Wonder if Flint will start?
