Failing Ravel, Blues should launch loan move for Everton man

Failing Ravel, Blues should launch loan move for Everton man

Birmingham City have hit a very rough patch in terms of bringing players into the football club.

Despite adding Luton Town striker Isaac Vassell to the squad on Monday morning, Blues manager Harry Redknapp is becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of signings according to reports.

A move which would have seen Nigerian international Ogenyi Onazi has seemingly fallen through after the player was denied a work permit, something which is believed to have angered Redknapp who has seen yet another move crumble at the last hurdle.

Elsewhere, the club don't seem to have gotten any further in their pursuit of Lazio midfielder Ravel Morrison and with things being at a stand still, you have to wonder whether there will be any further progression.

With all that in mind, I believe that Redknapp will now look elsewhere for attacking options and I believe that I may have found somebody that the 70-year-old will consider to have fantastic abilities.

As Everton look set to announce the club-record signing of Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson for £45 million, it begs the question, what next for teenage sensation Tom Davies?

The 19-year-old midfielder had a wonderful first season in the Premier League under Dutchman Ronald Koeman but with big money signings coming in this summer, Davies may well see his chances become slightly more limited.

Everton won't want the teenager missing out on valuable playing time and that is where I believe that Blues could step in.

A loan move to Blues may seem like a bit of an audacious one but at the end of the day, who wouldn't want to play for Redknapp?

If the former Tottenham Hotspur manager could pull off a loan move for Davies then it would prove that the club are still a big pull and it would also show how ambitious the board are as well.

Blues fans need a pick up, as does Redknapp, and signing a player with the quality that Davies has could provide that lift that everyone is looking for.

However, like I just though, this would be a very audacious and ambitious loan move but as Redknapp keeps saying, he and the board are both ambitious, so why couldn't this move happen!

Blues fans, do you think this would be a loan move that the club would look at? Let us know in the comment section down below!

Tom is not going out on loan this season and, even if he was, it wouldn't be down a league. He's a prem level first teamer he'd get nothing out of a season with Birmingham.

More speculation, unless I hear it from Redknapp I am paying no notice at all to these articles. It's absolutely crazy that Redknapp won't just go and sign Morrison. He made loud noises about being the only manager in England who would take a chance with him,The old saying "empty vessels make the most noise" comes to mind.Sorry for being negative,I hate to be that way, simply so frustrated with constant bad news.
