Transfer Talk: Blues set to win race for Southampton man

Transfer Talk: Blues set to win race for Southampton man

Birmingham City look set to secure another striker in the coming days with Southampton forward Sam Gallagher expected to sign on a season long loan.

Harry Redknapp has been in the market for a striker all window and last week he signed Luton Town man Isaac Vassell and now be looks set to secure another one.

Blues' Championship rivals Derby County and Aston Villa were believed to be in the hunt for the Saints man as well but it looks like Redknapp has won the race this time round.

It is also believed that Blues are expected to announce the arrivals of Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah and Arsenal duo Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Brammall on loan.

Blues fans, this could be a very exciting week!

We got our man,we beat our rivals Aston Vile and Derby County, two clubs who also have a genuine chance of promotion this season,if we can finish the season ahead of those two we should be in the top six.Fabulous signing giving us options we have only been able to dream about up front. When Che Adams returns, wow,I can't wait to see these guys in action and scoring hopefully many many goals. After our disappointing start this is such a lift, finally the fans can hope and dream of better things,we suffered so much last season,Zola was an awful manager, decimated morale with the players resulting with terrible results. The future is bright, the future is Royal Blue...come on you blues boys.
