Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Derby County

Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Derby County

Birmingham City head into this weekend's game against Derby County at the iPro Stadium under the guidance of Caretaker boss Lee Carsley following the sacking of former manager Harry Redknapp last weekend.

Heading into the game, the former Blues midfielder confirmed the obvious injuries that are currently keeping Che Adams, Jota and Jason Lowe out of the team but he stated that there were no more injuries to worry about.

As well as addressing the injury concerns, Carsley was keen to state that he wouldn't be making wholesale changes to the side that lost on Saturday against Preston North End but he would be looking to sure things up and make Blues tough to play against.

With not many changes expected, and with very little knowledge on how Carsley is looking to set his team up, predicting this weeks line up is going to be very difficult.

However, here is who I think Carsley will select for his first game in charge of Blues....

GK: Stockdale

RB: Colin
CB: Morrison
CB: Roberts
LB: Grounds

CDM: Gardner
CDM: N'Doye

RAM: Boga
CAM: Vassell
LAM: Maghoma

ST: Gallagher

Substitutes: Kuszczak, Dean, Nsue, Walsh, Kieftenbeld, Davis, Jukiewicz.

Blues fans, what do you make of the line up that has been predicted? Do you think Marc Roberts, Jonathan Grounds, Craig Gardner and Isaac Vassell will all return to the starting XI? Let us know in the comment section down below!

I would drop both Gallagher and Morrison. We need to play a left footer at left CB. Only real choice is Grounds. Play Bramall at left back. Not against Gardner and Ndoye pairing. play Juke up top with the two quick players Maghoma and Vassell on sides and Boga central.
