Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Cardiff City

Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Cardiff City

Birmingham City have been busy preparing for their game against top of the table Cardiff City under the management of new boss Steve Cotterill.

The new manager was a picture of composure at his pre game press conference earlier today and was able to deliver some good news to Blues fans.

Blues and Cotterill have been handed a welcome boost with Che Adams, Jota and Jason Lowe all back from injury.

However, Cotterill has confirmed that all three are likely to start on the bench due to lack of match fitness and with it being their first game back from their respective hamstring injuries.

Down below is the side that I think will face the Bluebirds along with the substitutes bench...

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Colin
CB: Morrison
CB: Roberts
LB: Grounds
CDM: Kieftenbeld
CDM: Gardner
RAM: Boga
CAM: Vassell
LAM: Maghoma
ST: Jutkiewicz

Substitutes: Trueman, Dean, Nsue, Ndoye, Lowe, Jota, Adams.

Blues fans, what do you make of the team that has been selected? Will Sam Gallagher miss out altogether? Let us know in the comment section down below!

Looks good ...can't wait to see SC play vassels and Adams up front with Jota in the middle as a number 10 though ..

Morrison and Roberts didn't work too well. Its gotta be Roberts and Dean. Colin at RB and Grounds at LB. The rest looks quite good. The attacking quartet will cause any team problems.

Whoever Cotterill plays I want to see the passion of a Damien Johnson, the never say die of a Robbie Savage and a gutsy approach of a Geoff Horsfield. We have the players now but they must want it badly enough to hurt just like any Warnock team. Morrison,Dean or Roberts simply must stand firm for our club as they have been just that in the past.Roberts and Dean in particular have bee rocks with their previous clubs.Get these three right and the rest of the team will rise to the expectations.
