Blues scouring the European market for striker

Blues scouring the European market for striker

Birmingham City are scouting across Europe in search of a solution to their goal scoring problems.

Money is available to spend in the January transfer window which promises to be a vital one for Blues who are battling against relegation once again.

The Birmingham Mail reported - 'Director of football Jeff Vetere has also been scouting extensively in preparation for a key transfer window in Blues' recent history. Blues will consider strikers from the European market come January with (Darren) Dein having strong connections in France and Spain'.

Blues have scored a lowly 10 goals in 20 league games this term and have lost Isaac Vassell for the rest of the season through injury. With Sam Gallagher often utilised as a wide player, Che Adams and Lukas Jutkiewicz are Blues' only fit senior strikers.

The very idea of Jeff Vetere scouting Europe really does sicken me. Nothing about this man inspires me. Maybe I have become too cynical to continue to support our club-but this man does something to my water.
