Blues reportedly tracking Lech Poznan midfielder

Blues reportedly tracking Lech Poznan midfielder

Birmingham City are reportedly keeping tabs on the availability of Lech Poznan attacking midfielder Darko Jevtic, Vital Birmingham can reveal.

The 24-year-old has made 13 appearances for the Polish outfit so far this season in the Ekstraklasa, scoring two goals in the process against Wisla Krakow and Jagiellonia respectively.

According to the source, Blues are reportedly willing to pay around 2.6 million euros for the Swiss midfielder, although at the moment the interest hasn't been taken any further than a brief look at his availability.

With Blues lacking that creative spark in the midfield at the moment, it is believed that manager Steve Cotterill is in the market for an attacking play maker and Jevtic certainly fits the bill.

My plea to the club this week is to get the transfers done asap.We are still in a dark place and next weekend must produce a point.Defeat would be very damaging.Games at this time run out quickly so 1.4 per game needs to be achieved.Adams and Jota cannot be relied upon at present which has made Cotterill and Carsley think very hard.
