Midfielder interesting Barnsley and Blackburn

Midfielder interesting Barnsley and Blackburn

Birmingham City midfielder Jason Lowe is reportedly attracting the interest of his former side Blackburn Rovers and fellow Sky Bet Championship side Barnsley, Vital Birmingham understands.

Last week it was reportedly widely that Lowe was interesting his old club Blackburn but we now understand that the Tykes are also looking at the possibility of bringing the out-of-favour midfielder in.

Since his surprise arrival at St.Andrew's in the summer, Lowe has made just three appearances but due to injury he hasn't featured since the 16th of September.

And with manager Steve Cotterill looking to get rid of some dead wood, like he already has done with Emilio Nsue and David Cotterill, the 26-year-old looks like he could be next on the list of departures.

We will as always keep you posted on this one should it develop any further...
