Charlton Athletic to miss out on Blues midfielder

Charlton Athletic to miss out on Blues midfielder

According to reports, League One side Charlton Athletic look set to miss out on Birmingham City midfielder Stephen Gleeson.

Kentlive are reporting that Gleeson looks set to slip through the net along with three other unnamed players.

Addicks boss Karl Robinson knows the 29-year-old midfielder well from his time with him at MK Dons and it was thought that he wanted to be reunited with his former player.

Vital Birmingham also understands that Gleeson is one of four players that the club are looking to offload in January, along with Carl Jenkinson, who is on loan from Arsenal, Jason Lowe, who was a summer signing from Blackburn Rovers, and Emilio Nsue, who has already left the club to join Cypriot side APOEL FC.
