Cotterill will bide his time over Mags

Steve Cotterill will take as much time as possible before making a decision on Jacques Maghoma's involvement in tomorrow's second city derby at Villa Park.

The Congolese international has been battling to overcome a groin injury picked up during the 3-1 win against Sunderland at the end of January.

Maghoma has become a key part of Cotterill's set-up and his return to favour has coincided with Blues' upturn in form.

Maghoma has missed the last two games with Jota starting in his place for the win at Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.

Cotterill will leave it as late as possible before deciding whether to start the 30 year-old.
