Should Blues go for brains or braun?

Should Blues go for brains or braun?

Assuming Jacques Maghoma is declared for for tomorrow's derby, Steve Cotterill has a decision to make.

Since Maghoma's injury, Jota has thrust himself into the limelight with some eye catching performances.

His two goals against Sheffield Wednesday helped Blues to a vital win. And his half time introduction during the FA Cup replay in midweek seemed to liven Blues up.

The Spaniard, however, doesn't offer as much to the team from a defensive point of view.

Maghoma, who perhaps isn't as technically gifted as record signing Jota, undoubtedly gives Blues more of a competitive edge with his work rate and willingness to press high up the pitch.

The question for Cotterill is - brains or braun?

Blues fans - what do you think?

Blues must go for goalscorers for this one ROB . If villa score we have to pull a goal back quickly or if we score first we must try to pull away . Not sit back .....poachers in the box blues .get it in there.

He could play both jota on the right and Maghoma on the left.

Maghoma every time if fit. Jota is a good option off the bench but lacks the energy and industry of Maghoma. Boga, Davis, Maghoma, Gallagher is a high energy front 4. Extra incentive added for the vile as a win would take them second.

It matters little whether it’s Jota or Maghoma. It all depends on how WE play collectively.Man for man Villa are a better side and should have that advantage but gritty blues of old is what I am looking for.Work our socks off with Horsfield/Savage enthusiasm and anything could happen.
