Well without a shadow of doubt I guess we all know Shotton's days are numbered.Zola last season picked him out for criticism, hardly a way to build up confidence in a player.Redknapp must see no future for him with BCFC yet other teams hoping for promotion see his ability and are chasing his signature.
Have said it before,he had a very good time when playing with Morrison, two of the best centre halves in the division in my opinion. Redknapp wants change,he has already strengthened in this area.I don't know if this player will be an improvement,if he signs only time will tell.

Aiden Flint is a steady Championship professional.I didn't like hearing that the Bristol City players wanted to relegate us in the final game, many of us will remember that when they visit St Andrews this year. If Flint does join us however I won't hold it against him.Is he an improvement on Shotton, hard one to answer. It looks increasingly likely Roberts and Morrison will be first choice starters. If Shotton is to be sold to another club we certainly will need another option in the heart of the defence.
