Good news yes,the signing of Isaac Vassell is building for the future. It's going to be a big challenge for him to jump two divisions and be expected to score 20 plus however being optimistic it has been done by others.Ideally the manager should still be looking for an experienced striker who is proven at this level. If signing a striker for about £1.5 million is the complete ambition of the board we may as well now realise promotion will be extremely hard, best we could hope for is mid table or even survival.

17/8/17 The transfer window will shut tight in less than two weeks time,as of yet we have no idea if Redknapp has any intention of signing another striker.A prolific goalscorer is needed urgently. Vassell could potentially turn out to be that man however the manager should not be putting all his eggs in one basket.Come on Harry,we can't compete without scoring goals and the prospect of repeating last seasons 45/46 games, less than a goal a game would probably relegate us.
