I think Harry Redknapp has surprised many of us who thought he would go down his tried and trusted route with other clubs he has managed, bringing in older players he has worked with before however no,he is adding in youth who will blend in with some of the experienced players. It's fantastic to see so many options up front, the loan addition of Jeremie Boga would be very welcome thank you !
I suspect Clayton Donaldson will be allowed to leave,he probably will, there is no room for sentiment in football however I do think we have a lot to thank him for in a period of our history when we had no money to spend he has done a great job.Sure he was not a prolific goalscorer however scored many vital goals, held the ball up to bring others into play,I for one thank him for that,if he is to leave I wish him well and another club in league one would love to have him around.Same applies to Stephen Gleeson and to a lesser extent Robert Tesche ,was great on loan however never quite played as well after signing.Don't like the term used as "dead wood",that implies people who don't do their job,Donaldson certainly has done so to the best of his ability.
A new chapter for Blues,it could become an exciting season, just hope these players click quickly together.

Bad result in the league cup tonight however at least we can fully concentrate on what's most important this season, firstly starting to climb the table,I believe strongly as the season progresses we will do that however most importantly by Christmas time we need to be within six points of a play off place,if we are further adrift it will be hard but not impossible to catch up.Redknapp is trying to do in one season what other managers would try and do in at least two, that's build a new team capable of promotion.Exceedingly hard task however never say never.
